Police Action!

Abner! ABNER!

Abner! ABNER!

8:45 pm on Tuesday, December 3. Corner of 67th/Fairmount (ish). Six Westmont police SUVs and one very convincing undercover cop truck with a big dent in the side. Drug-sniffing dog (do they sniff for anything but drugs? It was a sniffer dog. Sniffing around the car). Trunk searched. One guy in car; he’s now in custody.

Honestly, I’ve lived here since 2004 and until recently the closest thing to a police action has been speeding tickets and the one time someone was stealing change out of unlocked cars. In the past month and a half, there was a drunk driving with a side of public drunkenness from a passer by (during Garbage Amnesty week), a drunk girl landing in my neighbor’s front yard with her car, and now this.

Remember when I asked you guys to step up the excitement to give me something to look at out the window? I take it back.
